Summer 2015 NIH course in Clinical and Translational Research

Postby Katherine Lee » Tue Feb 17, 2015 8:48 am

Applications for a two-week Clinical and Translational Research Course for Ph.D. students, sponsored and run by the NIH Clinical Center, are being accepted through March 30, 2015.

This is a free course intended for current biomedical Ph.D. students from NIH-funded institutions. Their web site outlines other restrictions for application. This course does not cover food, lodging, and transportation costs. The course runs from July 6-17, 2015 on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland.

I attended this course last summer and it was very informative. I recommend it to anyone that is interested in learning more about Clinical and Translational Research. This course also includes core modules covering FDA new investigational drug applications and we even got to visit the new FDA campus. It was a very fun, interesting, and obviously educational experience. It is also a GREAT opportunity to network at the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland through the scheduled speakers, or through arranging your own private meetings with investigators.

Feel free to private message me if you have questions.
