Postdoc Appreciation Week Events -- Post yours here

Postby Dave Jensen » Thu Sep 15, 2016 1:57 pm

Next week is national Postdoc Appreciation Week, and I'm sure that there are events being held all over the USA (and perhaps in other countries as well) to celebrate the postdoc. Whether it's a Happy Hour or a special workshop or speaker, please post your institution's events here, so that we can see that this annual event is picking up steam. Every year, I see more and more events (and better events) planned. Here are three of them in New York City that I am participating in, presenting the collective wisdom that has been passed along in the Forum over the last 20+ years:

Tuesday, September 20th
3:00 PM Zuckerman Research Center Auditorium, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
"Street Savvy Science: The Unwritten Rules of the Road for a Science Career"

Also, later in Postdoc Appreciation week . . .

Wednesday, September 21st
Presented at Columbia University's Medical Campus (11:30 AM) and at Havermayer Hall later in the day (4:10 PM).

Thursday, September 22nd
Presented at Albert Einstein Medical College-Belfer Building at 12:00 Noon
