Hi All,

I am writing a CV for my first post-doctoral position. Though I have presented (platform as well as poster)my work at several local events, I have not won any 'prizes' for those. In your opinion should I be mentioning about these presentations in my CV?

Thanks for the link provided on CV writing and also for the excellent forum that you are maintaining. I have strongly recommended the site to my friends.

Hi SV,

Yes, I believe that presentations have a place on a CV. The emphasis should be on succinct and clear writing. If you add too much "misc" items with low value, like presentations, it will look watered down and weak. So, only add those that truly say something about you.
