Peter,

To add to Mike S's comments about the areas of expertise for his successful ChE friends . . . One of them is in drug delivery systems, which remains hot year after year, and the other is in downstream processing, or protein purification. That is a very strong area of BioChE or ChE demand.

Incidently, I just heard that Ireland is investing in a 140 Million Euro facility for training in bioprocessing -- fermentation, process development, downstream processing. Because so many companies have pharma facilities in Ireland now, and so many of them do bioprocessing, they want to expand on the local pool of talent available. I think this is a very admirable effort for a region to spend that kind of money on their future development of biotech,
