New Users -- Attention please!

We have been hit hard by spammers at this site and we've completely shut down our front door. (Readers are not seeing the spam messages because of these steps). For new users who want to sign up to post messages and get help on the Forum, you need to follow the rules. Your account will be activated if you follow our naming conventions. Spammers don't do that, so we can spot them easily.

If you are a new user, sign up with a real sounding name -- not "Kekjhwejhkj999wiuy" or "Superman28973" etc. Use a name that is real sounding, doesn't have to be your real name. Just don't use anything that looks "spam like" and you'll have no trouble getting approved. If you use the name of a celebrity or a famous scientist you won't be approved. Thank you!
