Emailed story from new graduate

I was happy to have received this recent "soon-to-be-a-success-story" . . .

"I am graduating with my PhD this May and doing some job hunting. I am following your advice of asking for people within 3 years of graduation, and asking them how they made the transition from academia, and their suggestions on job hunthing. It is paying off big time, and I've already spoken with 3 companies, all of whom told me they needed people with my background. I also met a recruiter at a recent community networking event, and she's already plugged me in to two companies in North Carolina. Thanks for the good advice!"

Let's hope this fellow can come back and post himself on our forum when he's finished his search,
