bench scientist to CRA possible?

Postby JLP » Wed Aug 30, 2006 12:18 pm

Has anyone successfully made the transition from bench scientist to CRA? Most CRA job postings require experience, which you can't get without an entry level CRA job, which barely seems to exist! I am taking an online/classroom course in clinical research, so now I have the theoretical knowledge for the job, but no actual monitoring experience. If anyone has gotten out of the lab and into this field, can you share how you did it? Thanks.
