second postdoc funding

Postby Gidi » Wed Mar 28, 2007 10:06 pm

Hi,
I am doing my second postdoc in a completely differnt field from my first one. I already established the assays and got some preliminary results but I am still far from publishing. However, I have quite a nice publication list from my first postdoc. I am funded by HFSP for my first 3 years in the current postdoc (I am reaching the end of the second year) but I am looking for funding 1-2 additional years so I can translate experiments into papers. I wonder whether anyone is familiar with a suitable fellowship. I should mention I am not a US citizen. The only one I found is the NIH K99/R00 bridging grant. I am not sure I am competitive for that, but maybe I am due to my previous publication record. I decided to give it a try and I am starting these days to write the application. If someone has some advice regarding this specific grant or any other fellowship, I'll be very grateful, Thanks, Gidi
