Negotiating for RAP vs. tenure-track AP

Postby Emil Chuck » Tue Apr 17, 2007 6:48 am

To academic faculty in general:

I'm sure we have discussed the nuances of this before, but I wanted to know whether there were any differences in "negotiating" for a non-tenure-track research assistant professor (RAP) compared to a tenure-track assistant professorship. (It's not for my job situation obviously, but I want to be sure advice I am giving is as complete as I can address on the subject.)
