alternative careers for ph.d?

Postby Y. Funk » Sun Apr 29, 2007 11:50 pm

I got ph.d in biomed and did postdoc for couple years. I got couple first author papers and couple second author papers. I am working for small biotech company which I hate because of low salary and boring research. I like science and I like research... but I am tired of getting paid low. I am sure many ph.d feels same as I do. At this point, I really don\'t care what kind of work I do as long as I get paid better. But I really don\'t want to waste my ph.d, and I like to work something related to science. What are alternative careers for ph.d in bio/pharm area?
are there any extra degrees or certificates I should earn to boost my future careers?
Thank you.
