Career path after Clinical Trials Assistant

Postby Kal » Thu Sep 20, 2007 2:54 pm

I have an offer for a CRA position but I am not in a position to accept the offer because of the travel and contract contingencies associated with this CRO. I am in the process of interviewing with another CRO for a clinical trials assistant (CTA) position. This position is a step lower than a CRA. I am wondering what are the other career paths (apart from a CRA) that a person with a CTA can pursue. Will the CTA experience be useful to move into other \"regulatory\" positions within the CRO. Thanks.
