Does anybody have experience with applying to IBM in Zurich just after finishing a PhD in physics. How difficult is it to get get a postdoc position (as I understood that\'s the main way to get in the company for new graduates)? Is an initiative application a good idea? What are the main criteria they are looking for? How can you increase your chances of getting such a job? Is being a foreigner a problem? As far, as I know Switzerland is quite conservative in employing people from other countries?
