Which resume style do you prefer?

Postby Paul. J » Fri Feb 15, 2008 1:22 pm

Here is one for the industry folks: Which style of resume do you prefer to see?

I have seen two major styles of resumes, 1) the bullet list with a one to two line descriptions of skills and/or accomplishments and 2) the bullet list with 5-7 lines of description going into more detail regarding the issue, the strategy used to address the issue and the results of said strategy.

While resume 2 is more \"intimidating\" to look at and requires a little effort to get through, I feel you get a better feel for the candidate than with resume 1 which only gives a little bit of information.

Any thoughts?
