local job report

Postby Jack » Tue Mar 18, 2008 9:14 am

A local physics lab has laid off almost 22% of its staff in the past couple of months due to budget cuts. That\'s not as large as the job losses that Bear Stearns will probably generate. I wonder, how many of those people are ex-physicists who became quants (one of the \"industry\" career options for physicists)?
