Business Development or Tech Transfer Interests?

Here's a chance to hear G. Steven Burrill and a variety of other great speakers and do some Grade A networking.

Nebraska has pulled together a really great session for business development and tech transfer professionals . . . A friend of mine wrote me about this. It's obviously not meant for career development, but what a place to do some networking. To hear these speakers and have meals included over two days, sitting next to a CEO or a Director of BD. I'd call this one a winner as it is only a $100 investment (most meetings like this are $500 or more, sometimes a couple of thousand). Let's hope it works well for Nebraska. I'd go but it interferes with another meeting I am attending in Toronto on the same days. Here's the scoop:
The Midwest Technology Exchange (mtechx) is a collaborative conference focusing on the development and commercialization of Midwestern technologies which have been developed in collaboration with the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) and the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC).

This conference will be an inclusive two-day meeting that will bring together Army funded principal investigators in the Midwest region, technology transfer experts, company representatives, venture capitals, economic developers, military and civilian experts to collaborate on advanced methods to achieve tangible commercial success and develop an infrastructure to help advance technology development and commercialization of Army funded projects in the Midwest.
