Please, do not post a "typical Internet name" when using this forum.

THIS IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT THAN YOUR "NORMAL" INTERNET SITE.

You won't find someone with a username like "SexyBeast999" or even "bsmith9999." So if you register with something like that, you'll either be removed or we'll assign you something "real." Please, posters, use real sounding names, initials or something, but don't push your username together as in an email address or attempt to come up with something "cool sounding." It won't work here. I can't tell you all the BiologyDoc's and DocSmith's that I've removed from this forum over the years!

New users continue to post with oddball user names. I've taken to changing those usernames to fit the guidelines, but please, if you are considering posting here, we'd love it. Just follow the guidelines and note that we are not a place where you can post with some kind of net-style name. Just use any real sounding name so our discussion doesn't start to feature threads where SpaceGirl is asking a question and answered by LoveChat and MacUser999.
