Are there Audio/Video careers in Science Reseach?

Postby A. Padilla » Tue Oct 30, 2012 9:32 pm

Hello All,

I am an A/V production specialist with a passionate interest in Physics, Chemiestry and Biology. My question is simple. Are there any research organizations that can use my skills? How would I go about finding other professionals in that field and actual position titles. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I must admit, I really don't know what an AV production specialist is or does. Perhaps there are others who are more informed and can answer your question. But if you could provide a layman's view of what you do and what you'd like to do for a research organization, you might get a better response.

Hello,

I am sure that major associations (like the AAAS, which runs this site) have AV departments where they produce films/video for use in classrooms or about careers, etc. Certainly, there are scientific communication companies that produce superb animations for their biotech company clients that demonstrate what a drug or technology does in the body.
