A research position with people interaction?

Postby Brittany J. » Tue Nov 06, 2012 5:25 pm

I am a recent graduate from the university of Hull with a high 2.1 degree. I completed my final year research project in genetics and cancer research, and am currently working as a medical information officer.

I am an extremely friendly and approachable person, who finds nothing more rewarding than knowing I have helped someone or made them feel better, in which respect my current job is excellent as I help patients and medical professionals make educated medical decisions.

However, I also loved the laboratory work environment, and have always seen myself in a more research oriented position. Throughout my time at university I was particularly passionate about immunology and cancer research, and am even considering applying for further study in the two.

Can anyone provide me with any suggestions of career paths or job titles I may find appealing?
