Proposition 71

Postby Ellen Florian » Thu Nov 11, 2004 4:32 pm

I am a Fortune reporter working on a short story about young scientists considering moving to California to work on embryonic stem cell research as a result of the passage of Proposition 71.

If this is something you are seriously considering and would be willing to speak to a reporter about it, please email me at eflorian@fortunemail.com

Many thanks,
Ellen Florian

Proposition 71

Ellen,

I am absolutely certain that this Proposition will result in interest in moving to CA for those who are studying embryonic stem cells. However, it may be a little premature at this time. To move an academic department, or a company, would take months and months -- and we'd likely not hear about it in the early discussion stage.
