does teaching look bad when applying for industry?

Postby Asha » Tue Sep 26, 2006 2:59 pm

I will be receiving my MS in chemistry soon, and have some contacts with the local community college who can get me some parttime work as an instructor.

I don't have any convinctions right now about work solely in industry or teaching, but if I take parttime teaching work, will it hurt my chances of landing an industry position in the future? And what about vice-versa?
