Hi,

I have worked in Sweden in the past (Royal Institute Technology Stockholm). I want to return to Europe not necessarily to Sweden. I am a I have been working in the biotechnology field for 8 years and am currently a Senior Staff Scientist. Prior to getting my PhD in bio-analytical chemistry I was an engineer for ten years.

Does anyone have advice for finding employers that are actually looking for new employees, approaching them from the US and optaining work in my field?

My best, Nels

Hey Nels!

This doesn't really answer your question, but you might want to have a look at the Yound European Biotech Network (http://www.yebn.org/). There are additional forums where others may be asking the same questions. I have other European links as well if you're interested.

As Dave has mentioned time and again - networking is probably the best solution - contact people you worked with in Sweden, people you met at conferences etc.
