Engineering Background & Biotec Job

Postby RSM » Fri Nov 03, 2006 1:21 pm

I am an MS student, just graduated and looking for jobs. My Bachelors is in Chemical Engineering and Masters has more bio emphasis (with hands-on lab experience). I was at a scientific conference recently and interacted with some industry people there. I was suggested strongly by many - to consider PhD, and also, if I want to stay in research-oriented biotec company (with MS) then something such as Process Development (pilot scale) - which is combination of engineering and biology would a better choice.
As my most recent experience is in molecular biology lab particularly on bench, what would be a better career choice for an entry-level job seeker like me!
I would really appreciate your input.
