Differences in Translational, Drug & Product Development positions

Postby Michael » Thu Nov 30, 2006 12:05 pm

Please, could someone distinguish the differences between these positions in Pharma/medical imaging industries:
translational research, drug development position,
and product development?
I was notified by a medical imaging company's representative that they would like to know which area of the above three, I would prefer.
My background & education are Physical Chem, Biophysics/Imaging and Medicine.
I would like a position that gives me the latitude to employ my composite background.
