Women in bioScience Conference

Postby Huong Huynh » Fri Apr 13, 2007 6:01 pm

Here's a FYI for those in the San Diego/Riverside/Irvine areas. The San Diego chapter of Association of Women in Science is hosting a Women in bioScience Conference on Saturday May 19 .

This is an excellent opportunity for peer-to-peer networking with men and women in science. This conference is designed for those who are searching for opportunities in industry and academia, as well as those who are "in between" jobs. There are workshops ranging from interview skills and business etiquette to career options to news on the global market. Check the website for details.

If you are not local to San Diego, perhaps you might check your local listings for career and professional development events or groups to host similar events.
