Lost physics graduate!!

Postby Clare O. » Thu Jun 14, 2007 10:59 am

Hey I just came across this forum and wondered if there was anyone who had maybe been in a similar position that could give me some advice. I just graduated with a 3rd class physics degree from Uni of Surrey but am planning on resitting an exam to get it up to a 2:2 which is perfectly within reach. However I am trying to find a job I could do in the meantime that would either not mind me only having a 3rd or that could be a good stepping stone in the future once my grade is finalised. I have 1 years experience within medical physics field (radiation protection) but realise I cannot progress with this until I have completed the training scheme (which is out of reach with a third). Any advice for me would be much appreciated. Clare
