AAAS and NSF are offering free workshops to scientists and engineers (PhD students and up) on communicating science with public audiences. Practical information, skill development, and networking with other scientists interested in communicating their research to non-scientists is included. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Upcoming workshops include:
Nov. 14 - Society for Neuroscience Meeting, Washington, DC
Dec. 14 - American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting, San Francisco, CA (registration is now closed)
Feb. 12 - AAAS Annual Meeting, Chicago, IL
