Just a reminder for new people on the forum, the National Council for Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer is about to start a new 9-week course on research commercialization nuts-and-bolts. It is FREE, and the last time around 4000 people participated. The Research Commercialization Introductory Course is recommended for all medical, science and engineering researchers in public or private research institutions (e.g., grad students, post-docs, professional staff and faculty) and in commercial enterprises (e.g., startups, SBIRs, research-based small businesses and Global 1000).

If you are interested, sign up. This is not a program that is run by or affiliated with AAAS or this forum, but since it is free and covers a lot of information that often appears here, I think it's worth it for those of you interested in industry-related careers.
