Creating a Biotech Startup

Postby Shawn F. » Wed May 26, 2010 12:45 am

I am posting here because I have a strong desire to build a web service that fulfills a need in the Biotech/Science Community. As of today I have over 9 years of experience as a software engineer using Perl, C, Php, MySQL, Apache, Javascript, and other related technologies. I also have some knowledge of practical machine learning techniques such as K-means clustering, Neural Networks, and Genetic or Evolutionary Algorithms.

Currently I am looking for a partner who is trained and knowledgable in Biotechnology and who also shares a similar vision of entrepreneurship.
If successful our service could help save someone time, money, or offer a new innovative approach to solving a particular problem. This would also provide a new career path where we could be the founders of our own startup company.

If interested please email me. I am located in the Los Angeles area.
